The Great Christmas Rescue

Christmas is in trouble — and only two dogs can save it!

It’s Christmas Eve in snowy Shropshire, and Mollie and Tobie are ready for a quiet night at home. But when Santa’s sleigh crash-lands in a nearby field, the two lovable Newfipoos are whisked into an unforgettable adventure.

With reindeer scattered across the countryside, presents buried in the snow, and Santa himself stuck in the village pub leading carols, it looks like Christmas morning might never happen.

Enter Mollie — calm, wise, and determined — and Tobie — mischievous, sausage-obsessed, and full of heart. Together, they team up with Santa, a panicked elf called Tinsel, Karl, Lady H, and even the sarcastic AutoDog 3 to save Christmas before dawn.

Along the way, readers will discover:

  • Dasher chased by angry sheep
  • Dancer joining a Morris dancing troupe
  • Prancer stealing the spotlight in a Nutcracker ballet
  • Vixen refusing to leave a cozy fireside
  • Tobie causing chaos at every turn (and delivering sausages down chimneys)
  • Mollie leading with calm courage, proving that quiet strength saves the day

But when one special child’s gift goes missing, Mollie and Tobie must do more than fix the sleigh. They must deliver the real magic of Christmas: comfort, joy, and love when it matters most.

Heartwarming, hilarious, and filled with festive sparkle, Mollie & Tobie: The Great Christmas Rescue is a Christmas classic in the making. Perfect for family storytime, holiday gifting, and anyone who loves dogs, snow, and sausage-fuelled silliness.

For ages 6–12, but adored by dog lovers of all ages.

If you enjoy magical adventures, mischievous pups, and stories that make you laugh and cry, this book deserves a place under your tree.

Because sometimes the best Christmas gifts aren’t wrapped at all — they’re found in the warmth of family, friendship, and the wag of a tail.
